Sadly, we are still unable to return to our conference home on Sanibel Island due to ongoing construction following Hurricane Ian. However, we are thankful to be returning to the Dolphin Beach Resort on St. Pete Beach for the 2024 meeting. This year, the conference dates are December 11-14, 2024. We will conduct an ARF Board meeting and host a small welcome reception on the evening of December 11th, with the full conference agenda beginning Thursday, December 12th. Our beloved Spirit of the Times reception will be on Thursday evening, and we will host a luncheon on Friday afternoon. Conference activities will conclude on Saturday, December 14th, by 12:00pm. We look forward to the many wonderful speakers and presentations focused on our conference theme: Mindful Literacy: Literacy as an Umbrella for the Whole Person. 

 

Reservations can now be made by calling the resort directly at 727-360-7011. To receive the group rate for a standard double room ($209/night) or superior pool/Gulf view double room ($259), you must identify yourself as an attendee of the American Reading Forum 2024 Conference when making the reservation. Reservations must be made by November 8th to receive the conference rate. Reservations made after that date will not qualify.
